Bloomington Developmental Learning Center is looking to expand our support staff team. As a support staff at BDLC, you would work alongside our full-time teachers in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. This is a wonderful part-time position for college students focusing on Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Psychology, Human Development and Family Studies, and more! Your main responsibilities would be assisting the full-time teachers in the health and safety aspects of the daily care of children ages 6 weeks to five years old, as well as assisting with our play-based, child-led developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Our available shifts for support staff are Monday through Friday 8-10:30am, 1-3pm, and 3-6pm. The day-to-day shifts are very flexible. BDLC is open Monday through Friday. This is a great opportunity for those who like to have their evenings, weekends, and holidays free!
BDLC is a non-profit childcare center with a wonderful sense of community. We have strong views and beliefs regarding the connection between adults and young children. We look for staff that have a strong sense of empathy and respect for young children. We are open to part-time
